Stop sending your account number
“Send account number.” “Have you paid?” “Send screenshot.” Then you squint at your bank app to check the alert is real. With Stalls, your buyer pays on your link and the order only shows as paid once Paystack confirms the money.
To collect payment online as a vendor in Nigeria, you can send your account number, send a payment link, or use a store with checkout. On Stalls, buyers pay on your stall link by card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack. Paystack pays your share into your own bank account, and the order shows as paid only after Paystack confirms the money.
How you get paid
- 1You connect your bank account under Payouts. We check the account name with Paystack.
- 2Your buyer pays on your stall by card, bank transfer or USSD.
- 3Paystack splits the payment: your share goes to your bank, the Stalls fee to Stalls. Stalls never holds your money.
- 4Your order shows Paid only after Paystack confirms it.
Why it helps your buyers trust you
Buyers often worry about paying a vendor they've never met. On your stall they see your prices upfront, reviews from people who bought, your delivery fee and your returns policy, and they pay through Paystack, a name they already know.
What it costs
- Stalls: 2% of the goods, never more than ₦5,000 a month, nothing in a month with no sales.
- Paystack: 1.5% + ₦100 per payment, capped at ₦2,000. For now your buyer pays it, shown before they pay. If that changes, we'll tell you first.
- Example: on a ₦10,000 order, you receive ₦9,800. Full pricing
Questions
How do I avoid fake transfer alerts?
Don't send goods on a screenshot or an SMS alert alone. Check that the money is in your bank app or payment dashboard. On Stalls, an order is marked paid only when Paystack confirms the payment, so you don't have to judge a screenshot.
Who pays the Paystack fee?
For now your buyer pays it, shown before they pay. If that changes, we'll tell you first. It goes to Paystack, not to Stalls.
Does Stalls hold my money?
No. Paystack splits each payment, and your share goes to the bank account you connected. Payouts usually arrive by the next working day.
Do I need CAC?
No. You don't need a CAC number to open a stall or get paid.
What if a buyer wants to pay by direct transfer?
That's up to you. Those orders happen outside Stalls and carry no Stalls fee, but you lose the automatic confirmation and the reminders.
What happens if I need to refund a buyer?
You record the refund on the order and can put the item back in stock.
